What is Disaster Recovery ?
Disaster recovery is the process of retrieving damaged, corrupted, or loss data to it's original state. The process involves following a set of policies and procedures. These disasters can either be natural or caused by human error.

Recovery Time Objective (RTO): Is the time period restoration must be done after a disaster. This is determined by how long can the business last without the data before it reaches it's breaking point.
Recovery Point Objective (RPO): The maximum limit that a business data is lost from an IT service due to a major incident.

Many cloud Solution platforms such as Microsoft 365, has a policies in place for data restoration. If your data has been deleted by accident or on purpose Microsoft will have your data ready for restoration within a 90 day Limit.
